Jio Air Fiber is a new broadband technology where you can access wireless 5G broadband connectivity at your home. Unless the other Airfiber like Airtel Jio offers low-cost 5G connectivity at any location where 5G Network is available, so anyone can access unlimited 5G internet from anywhere in India. It is very useful for some rural areas where there is no Fiber connectivity but 5G network is available. So is it a good time to buy Jio Air fiber?
Jio Air Fiber Plan Details
Jio Air Fiber comes with 6 different Plans. These plans are divided into two different parts, Airfiber and Airfiber Max.
Jio offers 30 Mbps to 1 Gbps plans, with 6-month and 12-month tariff plans. All the plans are postpaid, you will get a monthly billing but you have to pay at a time for the 6 or 12-month bill and also in advance.
If you consider a minimum plan that starts at 599/- per month, you need to pay for 6 month minimum with additional GST, which means you have to pay a total of 4240 rs, and if you are installing for the first time and if you are opting for 6 months plan then you need to pay one time non-refundable installation charges of rs 1000/-, which will wave off if you are opting for 12 months plan.
So For the time of installation, you need to pay a total of 5240 rs (for 6 months 599/- plan), and for that price, you can enjoy 30Mbps internet + 13 OTT app Subscription + 550+ TV channels for 6 months.

Things you need know before purchasing Jio Air Fiber
Unlike other Air fiber like Airtel Air fiber, Jio Air Fiber is not a single device, its a package of a total of 4 units, which going to be installed in your house, so keep in mind the space. and none of them are portable.
There are 2 outdoor devices one is the antenna which will installed on your rooftop facing the nearest 5G tower, and another is a junction box that is connected to your antenna, and form this junction box jio will provide your nearest houses air fiber connection from your antenna in future, which will also installed on your rooftop, total 7 connection possible from one junction box, and if ports run out they can increase by installing another junction box, and a cat 6 cable will be connecting your indoor router unit, similarly other house router from your rooftop antenna, so it will be totally mess all the wire tangling around on your rooftop and you can’t get anything to give other connection. so it’s concerning.
